Description

JANIC is a nationwide platform of Japanese NGOs whose objectives are to enhance the accountability of the NGO sector while gaining further support from the Japanese society.

JANIC serves as a secretariat for the Japan Quality and Accountability Network (JQAN) which brings together like-minded humanitarian and development practitioners in Japan. Established in 2015, JQAN aims at advocating for the use of humanitarian principles and standards within the humanitarian aid community and partners in order to improve the Quality and Accountability of humanitarian action for the benefit of people affected by natural and madman disasters.
