Mamdouh Tello is a certified trainer in Sphere Standards, Camp Management, Disaster Management, Resource Mobilization, and Project Management, accredited by international agencies such as Sphere, IOM, IFRC, CARE, and SARC.
Currently, he serves as a National Program Specialist for Recovery Services at the Canadian Red Cross while also leading International Network for Development Advisor (INDA) in Canada, providing capacity-building and consultancy services.
With over 16 years of experience across the MENA region, the UK, and Canada, Mamdouh has held progressively senior roles in international humanitarian and development organizations, as well as the non-profit and private sectors.
He has trained more than 550 participants in Sphere Standards across Turkey, Syria, the UK, Iraq, Yemen, Lebanon, and Canada. He has also organized multiple Sphere Training of Trainers (ToTs) and mentored new trainers to achieve Sphere certification. Additionally, he co-led efforts to adapt Sphere materials to the specific contexts of Iraq, Syria, and Yemen.
Mamdouh is the founder of several capacity-building and consultancy initiatives for non-profits, including POINT Organization in Turkey and INDA in Canada.
Mamdouh brings a unique blend of humanitarian expertise, program development, and private sector consulting, making significant contributions to both non-profit and corporate sectors worldwide.
