As part of the emergency response campaign “For Syria” launched by Junior Chamber International Syria, Junior Chamber International Homs is inviting you to attend an online workshop entitled (Basics of Humanitarian Action Based on the Sphere Standards Handbook). The Sphere Handbook targets those who are involved in the humanitarian response to the people affected by the recent earthquake disaster.
Duration: 6 hours; 2 days
Dates: Wednesday and Thursday; at 4 PM, Damascus Time Zone
Overview:
– An Introduction to the Sphere Handbook, its Establishment, and its Chapters
– Humanitarian Charter
– Protection Principles (along with providing examples on the current response)
– Core Humanitarian Standards (along with their applications on the current response)
