What is new in the 2018 Sphere Handbook? – Training package

These training materials are designed to support a presentation (for example, as part of a Handbook launch event), seminar, webinar or workshop. The session will last between 35 minutes for a short presentation up to half a day for an in-depth workshop including an activity. Participants will discover the changes in the 2018 Sphere Handbook through a sequence of slides. To tell the full story of the 2018 edition, Sphere’s evolution as an organisation, factors which influenced the revision, and the revision process itself are also covered. A set of questions for guided plenary discussions are included for interactive formats. An optional activity based on indicators and collective outcomes is included for in-person workshops.
