She studied Social Work in Spain and since 2009 she started training at the community level. She received the Sphere ToT in Dominican Republic in 2012 and since then she implemented the Humanitarian Charter and Minimum Standards to her work plan. She recently participated in the first ToT Sphere online course led by Redr UK.
She completed a Masters in International Cooperation in 2013 and has since facilitated Sphere trainings for Civil Society Organizations and more than 280 government officials in Chile. She led the Sphere standards adaptation process at the national level in Chile, where 21 Ministries participated and 35 national standards for emergency response were institutionalized. Her experience has been developed in Disaster Risk Reduction, disaster preparedness, and recovery projects at community, national and regional levels in different LAC countries, and in coordination with civil society, public and private sector, international NGOs, UN System, and donors.
Her commitment to the people and countries to which her work is directed facilitates a rapid integration and achievement of objectives. She proposes initiatives, enjoys working as part of a team, and has great communication skills that enhance the learning of those attending the workshops.
