About Gabriel Paredes Chávez
In the humanitarian field, he is certified as a SPHERE Standards Trainer (UN System Chile & IFRC, since 2013), with extensive international experience in managing humanitarian projects and strengthening organizations in disaster risk management. He founded and directed service and consulting companies in Latin America, chaired national business associations, and served as President of the Latin American Confederation of Private Employment Agency Companies. He is a member of various professional associations, including the Ibero-American Association of Labor Law and the Universal Ethics International Network. As a Clinical Psychologist with a master’s in emergency management and specialization in Classical Philosophy, he has authored numerous publications on psychology, ethics, philosophy, and human development. As a trainer and professor, he has decades of experience in Disaster Risk Management, Organizational Development, Human Development, Ethics, and Classical Philosophy, delivering engaging sessions to diverse audiences from different countries. Gabriel possesses natural leadership qualities focused on development, expansion, and problem-solving, with a knack for creative solutions and synthesizing information. He demonstrates a logical, analytical approach and excels at building connections, analyzing scenarios, and continuous learning.
